Keep the music going after school! The Music Class - Five Valleys is excited to bring afterschool music class back to MIS this fall!
This engaging afterschool enrichment class combines interactive music education with movement, rhythm games, beginner music theory, creative instrument-making crafts, and plenty of joyful music-making. Children will build musical confidence while developing listening skills, creativity, coordination, and a lifelong love of music through play.
The Music Class - Five Valleys' curriculum is designed around the idea that children learn music best through joyful immersion and repetition, with music at both school and home. Families receive access to our entire award-winning music collection for the school year, so the learning continues at home in the car, at bedtime, and everywhere in between. (For returning families - this is a different collection from last spring!)

About me: Hi! I'm Kate Boyd, owner of The Music Class - Five Valleys and, just as importantly, a fellow MIS parent. My two children attend MIS in the K/1 and Preschool programs, so this community is especially meaningful to me. I'm excited to create an afterschool space again this fall where children can connect, explore, and grow through the shared language of music.
