Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
We are seeking Early Childhood Assistant Teachers (Preschool through First Grade) for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Assistant Teachers support a Spanish immersion, IB Primary Years classroom by fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment, reinforcing language and inquiry-based learning, and actively engaging students in their academic and social-emotional growth. Working under the direction of Lead Teachers, this role ensures student safety, maintains classroom organization and routines, and helps create a consistent, respectful, and developmentally responsive environment throughout the day.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, previous experience working with children required, Spanish fluency preferred, and a background check is mandatory.
Substitute Teacher
MIS is always seeking substitute teachers to join our team. Experience in a school setting and Spanish fluency is preferred.
Teachers and staff at Missoula International School work together to inspire principled global citizens and lifelong learners through a challenging bilingual education for students and work constantly to translate this into daily classroom practice. We are preschool through eighth grade, and immerse students in Spanish as a second language beginning at age three.
