A successful MIS student will engage in the opportunities our school provides, and embrace the challenging IB curriculum, the language immersion and the inquiry-based program.

We’re delighted by your interest in joining the MIS community. For more than 30 years, MIS has provided students with a well-rounded education that nurtures their minds, bodies, and spirits.

MIS serves students from Preschool through 8th grade. We invite you to experience our vibrant community firsthand through a guided campus tour, where you can visit classrooms and connect with our faculty and staff. We will also offer information meetings in January.

Tuition Assistance
The value of an MIS education – and making it attainable.
You are here, so we know you value education as we do. MIS is an investment in your child’s future, and we strive to make it an option for all families who desire it.
We understand that every family's financial situation is unique, and we don’t want cost to be a barrier to joining the MIS community. If you believe MIS is the right fit for your child but have concerns about affordability, we encourage you to apply for tuition assistance. The process is straightforward, confidential, and designed to be accessible. Tuition assistance at MIS is awarded based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of school funds.
To be considered, both parents or legal guardians must complete the Clarity application and submit any required supporting documents. All financial information is reviewed carefully by Clarity, which provides MIS with award recommendations based on each family's demonstrated financial need.

What's Included:
-All supplies, curricular materials, school day field trips and other experiences that are part of the well-rounded and engaging MIS program.
-Total tuition includes the cost for all overnight experiential education field trip fees (Grades 5-8), with the exception of the 8th Grade capstone trip.
Additional Costs:
-Personal school supplies to start the year (pencils, paper, markers, backpack, lunch bag, etc.)
- After school enrichment classes
- Pizza Fridays
- Extended day program before and after school (limited enrollment available, Preschool-1st Grade only)

Applications are due February 15, 2027. Admissions decisions will be communicated in mid-March 2027.

Your tour will give you a glimpse of the MIS experience and the chance to see how learning builds through each grade level. Experience the active learning environment, see a specialist class, and explore how the immersion model combines with an IB curriculum, to create engaged inquiring learners.

MIS has a finite amount of spaces each year. When we have more applicants than spaces, applicants who have completed the admissions process will be placed on a waitlist until seats open up.

We admit students at all grade levels regardless of their language skills. Language acquisition is a process, and newcomers who join a class in the upper grades may have more of an adjustment period but will also receive individualized and small group Spanish instruction. We view the ongoing language development of a student as a shared responsibility of teachers, parents and the student. A successful student will participate fully with confidence and enthusiasm!

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. When an application is received, if there is space available in the requested multiage classroom, your application will be reviewed.

Children who have turned 3 years of age by December 31st, are eligible to apply for admission. All children must be toilet trained and fully independent in using the toilet.
