How to Become an MIS Family

MIS is interested in students and families who share its vision of creating internationally minded, lifelong learners. We seek students and families who want to involve themselves in the school community, and support our values of connection, cooperation and creativity.

A successful MIS student will engage in the opportunities our school provides, and embrace the challenging IB curriculum, the language immersion and the inquiry-based program.

Welcome to the 2026–2027 Admissions Season at MIS!

We are excited about your interest in joining the MIS community. As we celebrate 30 years of educational excellence, we reflect proudly on the journey that began in 1995. For three decades, MIS has provided students with a well-rounded education, nurturing their minds, bodies, and spirits.

Our mission remains steadfast: to help all students create meaningful and balanced lives, becoming lifelong learners and stewards who contribute to a world needing their unique talents. Our community is built on the values of Cooperation, Connection, and Creativity, which continue to foster academic excellence and well-rounded individuals.

MIS serves students in Preschool through 8th grade. We invite you to join us for a guided tour where you can witness our vibrant community in action. You will have the chance to visit classes and have real-time conversations to address any questions. To schedule a tour, see below. Additionally, we will offer three information meetings in January. To register to attend, also see below.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our campus and give you the opportunity to experience what sets us apart. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

In gratitude,

Susan Beck

Director of Admissions and Communications

Tuition Assistance

The value of an MIS education – and making it attainable.

You are here, so we know you value education as we do. MIS is an investment in your child’s future, and we strive to make it an option for all families who desire it.

We understand that every family's financial situation is unique, and we don’t want cost to be a barrier to joining the MIS community. If you believe MIS is the right fit for your child but have concerns about affordability, we encourage you to apply for tuition assistance. The process is straightforward, confidential, and designed to be accessible. Tuition assistance at MIS is awarded based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of school funds.

To be considered, both parents or legal guardians must complete the SSS (School and Student Services) application and submit any required supporting documents. All financial information is reviewed carefully by SSS, which provides MIS with award recommendations based on each family's demonstrated financial need.

An MIS Education Is An Investment In Your Child’s Future

Guided by our core values of cooperation, connection and creativity, at MIS we value an academic culture that fosters individual responsibility, creativity, and critical thinking through inquiry and collaboration. By promoting meaningful relationships, multilingual connections, and a safe, inclusive environment, we nurture confident, well-rounded individuals committed to serving both local and global communities.
