Join the MIS community in keeping the vision alive!

“Tuition ensures quality - fundraising provides opportunity.”

MIS relies on active and generous fundraising to thrive. As with most independent schools, tuition at MIS covers only a part of the cost of educating a student. In order to keep tuition as affordable as possible and support a diverse and inclusive community, the school depends on fundraising to make up the difference between tuition income and actual cost.

The MIS Annual Fund is our school's annual fundraiser. Our goal is to raise 10% of the school's annual operating budget.

By giving to ur Annual Fund, you’re making a lasting impact—every contribution helps build a stronger, more inclusive community that helps all of our students have a sense of belonging to the MIS community.

The Annual Fund Covers

  • Social/Emotional Learning: We recognize the importance of emotional intelligence in nurturing well-rounded individuals. Your contribution allows us to invest in programs that support social and emotional learning, creating a supportive environment for our students.

  • Teachers: Our educators are the heart of our community, shaping futures and inspiring young minds. With your support, we can provide our teachers with the resources and tools they need to continue delivering exceptional education and mentorship.

  • Socioeconomic Diversity: We’re dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued. Your contribution will directly support initiatives that promote socioeconomic diversity, including tuition assistance, ensuring equal opportunities for everyone in the community.

  • The Arts: The arts inspire creativity, self-expression, and unity. At MIS, every student has weekly classes in the arts. Your support will enhance our art and music programs, giving students the chance to explore and develop their talents. Help us continue to foster a vibrant artistic environment at MIS!
